Phililip Sollmann, Oren Ambarchi and Konrad Sprenger collaborate for a new EP on A-TON

Phillip Sollmann (Efdemin), Oren Ambarchi and Konrad Sprenger collaborate for a new EP on Ostgut Ton’s sub-label A-TON. Panama / Suez will be available on the 31st of August both in vinyl and digital formats.

A-TON, which has been active since 2016, has already released material by Luke Slater’s 7th Plain, Function, Marcel Dettmann, and very recently put out Inland’s debut album. Their upcoming project is a collaborative music group made of Phillip Sollmann (Efdemin), Oren Ambarchi and Konrad Sprenger with “the goal of creating subtly shifting musical passageways.” The tracks which the artists produced have resulted in “two variations of kraut-y, groove-based post-techno that unfurl through mutating polyrhythms and chiming, ethereal guitar play – a rare moment of guitar and techno in deep embrace.”
